Sher-e-Bangla Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque (October 26, 183 - April 26, 1972) [1] Bengali politician. He was well known as a Bengali diplomat in the first half of the twentieth century. Known to political circles and common people as 'Sher-e-Bangla' and 'Haq Saheb'.
He has held many political positions, including the Mayor of Calcutta (1935), the Prime Minister of undivided Bengal (1938-1943), the Prime Minister of East Pakistan (1954), the Home Minister of Pakistan (1955), and the Governor of East Pakistan (1958-1956). [2] He is one of the key leaders in the formation of the United Front.

 

A. K. Fazluk Haque was born on 28 October 183 at his uncle's house in Saturia village of Rajapur police station in Barisal district. He was the only son of Qazi Muhammad Wazed and Saidunnesa Khatun.
